What is Nerdacious Hobbies?
Nerdacious Hobbies is a brand-new venture born from a love of tabletop gaming and the hobbyist lifestyle. Whether you’re painting your first squad or commanding a veteran army, my goal is to provide the accessories that make your games run smoother and look better.
Who am I?
My name is Andrew Turner, and I enjoy playing tabletop games like Warhammer 40,000 along with the hobbyist nature of the game. I also enjoy sharing my passion with others!
What do I do?
As a new business venture, offerings are limited as I am focusing on steady growth vs doing too much at once. Items for sale will only be available to purchase at craft and vendor shows until the business is large enough and ready to begin online sales.
Craft & Vendor Shows
Craft and vendor shows are a great way to get out and sell different products to the general population without having a brick and mortar store front. It’s also a great way to build brand awareness and trust as I work on building.
I currently only sell items at these various shows, and products can include:
- Modular, Customizable Storage
- Gaming Accessories
- Used game miniatures & products
- Professionally painted miniatures from local artists
In particular, I’m focusing a lot on modular storage and accessories in the early stages of the business.
Blogging
Blogging is a popular way to connect with people online. While the early stages of the business doesn’t focus much on blogging itself, I will make occasional posts and share pictures from games, tournaments, events and more (namely on Flickr). In particular, I will use the blog as a “support” section for many of the customizable storage options and how to use them showing how to customize, assemble, disassemble, etc.
